The popular Volkswagen Golf is offered in a 4-door hatchback form. The Golf GTI is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that makes 241-horsepower mated to either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic transmission. The Golf R uses the same engine tuned to produce 315 horsepower.

After a redesign in 2022 the Golf GTI carries over with minimal changes while the Golf R gets a new limited 20th Anniversary Edition trim.
